The Cambria Hotel

The Cambria Hotel is a 13 story luxury hotel located in South Boston. All switchgear (including equipment/elevator disconnects) and light fixtures were coordinated with sizes and clearances specified in cutsheets/per code. Light fixtures outside of grid ceilings were laid out on the slab utilizing the file exported from the Revit model onto the Trimble Total Station and and lasered up to the deck above to ensure fixtures were installed in coordinated locations. All power, FA, TD, and incoming utility conduits were coordinated throughout the building with risers in the electrical and Teledata closets on each floor. All conduit/MI cable/lightning protection and hangers, slab openings below switchgear and underground stub-ups were coordinated with sleeves and threaded rod anchors were laid out/installed with Trimble prior to the pour of the post tension slab and equipment pads laid out post pour. All horizontal penetrations through the core walls surrounding the stairwells/elevator lobbies were installed in the coordinated locations shown on the Horizontal Penetration Shop Drawings provided to the EC as part of the BIM services. The Revit file was sent to Standard Electric to have all conduits pre-bent using the Greenlee 3D Auto Bender and installed per Conduit Shop Drawings. As-Builts for all levels from underground to rooftop were provided to EC in CAD format. With Consigli as the GC coordination started in 2016 and opened 9/30/2019.
Artis Senior Living

Artis Senior Living is a single story assisted living facility located in Lexington, MA. This project was on the smaller side and the coordination mainly consisted of coordinating all feeders underground with the plumbing contractor. All switchgear (including equipment disconnects) and light fixtures were coordinated with sizes and clearances specified in cutsheets/per code. In coming Utility Conduits were also coordinated to have a location for the horizontal penetration boxout for girder penetration required to enter the footprint of the building before conduit trenches could be dug. Utilizing the file exported from the model onto the Trimble Total Station prior to the pour all underground feeder stub-ups were laid out to be below the respective switchgear and Utility conduit box out was located. With Dellbrook | JKS as the GC coordination started in 2017 and opened in 2018.
Hyatt Place
Boston/Seaport District

The Hyatt Place Boston/Seaport is a 13 story luxury hotel located in the Seaport District Boston with a rooftop generator and a single level underground parking garage shared with the neighboring Ora Seaport Apartments. All switchgear (including equipment/elevator disconnects and bus plugs) and light fixtures were coordinated with sizes and clearances specified in cutsheets/per code. Light fixtures outside of grid ceilings were laid out on the slab utilizing the file exported from the Revit model onto the Trimble Total Station and and lasered up to the deck above to ensure fixtures were installed in coordinated locations. Two bus duct runs were coordinated only running horizontally on the 1st/Mezzanine and 2nd levels until reaching the location they were coordinated for one to rise through the first half of the levels and the other to rise through all of the levels in the electric rooms. Slab openings for bus duct risers and pads for spring hangers were laid out prior to the pour with the Trimble. All power, FA, TD, and incoming utility conduits were coordinated throughout the building with risers in the electrical and Teledata closets on each floor. Conduit sleeves and slab openings below switchgear, stub ups for underground/in-slab MC cable feeding the islands in the units, and threaded rod anchors were coordinated and laid out with Trimble prior to the pour of each slab with the equipment pads being laid out with Trimble post pour. The bolts to secure the generator were laid out using the Trimble prior to generator pad pours. The SER cables feeding the subpanels in each unit was coordinated in the ceiling of the hallway on each floor. All bus duct/conduit/cabling racks were prefabricated per shop drawings generated as part of the coordination services. With Suffolk as the GC coordination of the Hyatt Place started in 2017 and opened in September of 2020.
Ora Seaport Apartments

The Ora Seaport Apartments is a 13 story luxury apartment building located in the Seaport District Boston with a rooftop generator and a single level underground parking garage shared with the neighboring Hyatt Place. All switchgear (including equipment/elevator disconnects and bus plugs) and light fixtures were coordinated with sizes and clearances specified in cutsheets/per code. Light fixtures outside of grid ceilings were laid out on the slab utilizing the file exported from the Revit model onto the Trimble Total Station and and lasered up to the deck above to ensure fixtures were installed in coordinated locations. One bus duct riser serving the east portion of the building was coordinated only running horizontally on the 1st/Mezzanine levels until reaching the location it was coordinated to rise through the rest of the levels in the east electric rooms. The second run of bus duct was coordinated horizontally on 1st/Mezzanine and 2nd levels until reaching the location it was coordinated to rise through the rest of the levels in the east electric rooms. Slab openings for bus duct risers and pads for spring hangers were laid out prior to the pour with the Trimble. All power, FA, TD, and incoming utility conduits were coordinated throughout the building with risers in the electrical and Teledata closets on each floor. Renovations of Various Restaurants in Existing Harvard Smith Building

This project was renovations of various restaurants in the existing Harvard Smith building located in Cambridge. All new switchgear and light fixtures were coordinated with sizes and clearances specified in cutsheets/per code. Light fixtures outside of grid ceilings and conduit/cabling racks were laid out on the slab utilizing the file exported from the Revit model onto the Trimble Total Station and and lasered up to the deck above to ensure fixtures were installed in coordinated locations. All power, FA, and TD conduits were coordinated against new and existing conditions throughout the areas of the restaurants. With Consigli as the GC coordination of core and shell portion of Parcel H started in 2020 and ended in 2021.
Parcel H (Core and Shell)

The Parcel H core and shell project was a 10 story future office building located in Cambridge with a rooftop generator and a multi level underground parking garage. All switchgear (including equipment/elevator disconnects and bus plugs) and light fixtures were coordinated with sizes and clearances specified in cutsheets/per code. Light fixtures outside of grid ceilings were laid out on the slab utilizing the file exported from the Revit model onto the Trimble Total Station and and lasered up to the deck above to ensure fixtures were installed in coordinated locations. Two parallel bus duct runs were coordinated only running horizontally on the 2ng and 3rd levels of the parking garage and the 1st/Mezzanine and 2nd levels of the building until reaching the location they were coordinated for one to rise through the first half of the levels and the other to rise through all of the levels in the electric rooms.
